As OMC, we have successfully completed the construction of the Çanakkale Lapseki Natural Gas Pipeline Project, tendered by BOTAŞ Pipelines Inc.
Within the scope of the project, a high-pressure natural gas pipeline approximately 43 km in length and 16 inches in diameter was constructed. Through hottap operations carried out via the Değirmencik Pig Station on the Turkey-Greece Natural Gas Pipeline, natural gas has been delivered to the Lapseki district.
The OMC team carried out all mechanical and construction works in compliance with international standards and occupational health and safety criteria, ensuring success at every stage of the project with effective coordination and a solution-oriented approach. In this way, a valuable contribution was made to the natural gas transmission infrastructure, and the region’s energy security was strengthened.
The completed Lapseki Natural Gas Pipeline Project has once again demonstrated OMC’s experience, technical capacity, and identity as a reliable solution partner in the energy sector.
